The Council owns and looks after Cow Common, which lies in a shallow valley south-east of the village. There is free access to the Common at all times, which is an exceptionally pleasant place for a stroll – or more serious walk! - with good views of the Swyncombe Downs. Unusually for the Chilterns, cows still graze on the Common during the summer months, so please ensure that dogs are kept under strict control.
If driving to the Common, please park your car in the car park above the recreation area, rather than on the road.
